Escape town and get your hands-on-the-land. With limited resources and repurposed materials, the Moon and Randolph families created unique fence lines around their 130-year-old apple orchard. With your help and creativity, we'll reimagine and reinforce these fences. Come to one or both sessions! Dress for the weather. Close-toed shoes are recommended. We'll be walking on uneven ground through a mowed pasture. Activities will involved rigorous physical activity and use of hand tools.
Bill Randolph put a conservation easement on the ranch with Five Valleys Land Trust in 1993. The easement protects the open space, agricultural, and ecological values of the site. This event is part of FVLT’s Hands-on-the-Land program. We’re grateful for their continued support!
