Two miles from downtown Missoula, the homestead offers visitors a rustic outdoor setting for public use. Amenities include benches, picnic tables, fire pit, BBQ, electricity, public toilet, and outhouse. Bookings are available with prior arrangement during our open season (May through October). Bookings outside of that open season will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please note there is no potable water or trash service available on-site. Private, School & Camp Tours

Field trip options are available for children and adults of all ages and abilities. We work with public and private schools, seniors, clubs, homeschool groups, summer camps, and others. Please inquire about tours, activities, and service opportunities. We have curriculum available and are happy to tailor content to your needs.

Art & Photography

Professional photographers and artists accepting payment for their services may schedule appointments at the homestead for photos or art sessions. Fees can be assessed each session or for seasonal use. Reservations also available for workshops, seminars, and classes.
